Episode 358 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast centers in on
the NAIA and University of Providence head wrestling coach Caleb
Schaeffer. While there has been a lot of talk recently about the
Blue Ribbon Task Force and its impact on Division I wrestling,
Schaeffer and the rest of the NAIA have some qualification news to
discuss.
A graduate of Montana State-Northern where he was an NAIA national
champion and four-time All-American, Schaeffer's been with the
school formerly known as the University of Great Falls since the
program's inception. A jovial, comical but serious guy at the same
time, Schaeffer and his NAIA comrades provide some of the most
entertaining events in all of wrestling.
How will the NAIA now qualify? Where's the next wave of expansion
coming? What story can he tell us about Emmett Willson and a
porcupine? All that as well as a food-service rant at the end of
the show, coming up now on Short Time.
