Spotsylvania (Va.) Athletics Director Bill Swink has coached for
decades. An inductee into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame for
Lifetime Service to Wrestling in Virginia in 2016, he's now working
on a proposal aimed at reducing forfeits, improving competition and
creating valuable dual meet schedules that help the sport of
wrestling.
On Episode 490 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, Swink, who has
coached state championship teams at Colonial Forge prior to coming
to Spotsylvania, talks about the why behind the proposal and what
the timetable could be on implementation, should it get the support
from the member schools in Virginia.
