Coleman Scott was a multiple-time high school state champion in
wrestling-rich Western Pennsylvania. After graduating from high
school, he chose Oklahoma State, where he'd go on to win an NCAA
championship and place four times at the Division I tournament.
On Episode 195 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, we'll talk with
Coleman Scott, the new head coach at the University of North
Carolina. We'll talk with Scott about his memorable high school
career, remembering the late Ty Moore, a memorable match from the
Beast of the East in 2003 and what he's looking forward to the most
in trying to revive North Carolina's wrestling program.
What's the transition been like in the short time he's been on the
job, first as an interim coach and now as "the guy?" Find out now
