Going bang-bang-bang with a series of episodes from the NWCA
Convention and CEO Leadership Academy in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida.
Episode 190 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast talks with two
women's wrestlers, one looking to break into coaching at the
college level and another who's been successful at the club and
girls level.
Both Caitlyn Chase and Julia Salata are three-time Junior women's
freestyle champions and both actively competed for college programs
in the WCWA. Chase has been coaching with the Illinois girls system
and Gomez Wrestling Academy, while Salata, a three-time WCWA
national champion at King University, is looking to start coaching
in college.
Both joined Short Time to talk about the opportunities being
created for women's coaches and the knowledge they've gained at the
NWCA Leadership Academy in Fort Lauderdale.
