The 16th WCWA National Championships are coming to Marietta, Georgia on February 8-9 and to talk about it is the head coach of the host Life University Running Eagles women's team, Ashley Sword.

A Florida native, Sword started wrestling in the 11th grade and then traveled across the country trying to find the right situation for her education and wrestling. After stints at Missouri Valley, the OTC and Oklahoma City, she was out of wrestling until the sport did what it does - brings people back in.

In her second year as the head coach at Life, Sword and assistant coach Christian Flavin are ready to run this event. Sword talks about her background, getting into coaching, the development of the women's wrestling scene and what it's been like to see the wave of great women coming into the sport.
