Prior to the annual NWCA Convention in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Executive Director Mike Moyer talked about the NWCA College Coaches Academy. The Academy started in 2010 and was a way to help educate up-and-coming coaches on traits that will help them land coaching positions and help preserve and entrench their programs. Now in the fourth year, over 300 coaches have come through the program and many of the newly-hired head coaches in all levels of wrestling have gone through the academy.
