When you turn on ESPN to watch the 2018 NCAA Division I
Wrestling Championships again this year, you'll hear the voice of
Mike Couzens directing traffic and setting the stage. The
29-year-old ESPN broadcaster will be in Cleveland with another shot
at calling college wrestling's most iconic event with fellow
broadcasters Anthony Robles and Tim Johnson.
On Episode 415 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, we talk with
the New York native and Syracuse alum on his career in broadcasting
and how he's prepping for the NCAA championships as well as what
he's done to prepare for a world of wrestling, one he wasn't
familiar with before getting the assignment.
