Danny Irwin picked a prime time to take over as the head
wrestling coach at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West
Virginia. The Indiana native and Manchester alum spent most of his
career in Division III coaching at Wabash. With WJU founding coach
Sean Doyle now in administration, Irwin is now leading the
#CardinalCulture.
On Episode 437 of the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, Irwin will talk
about his desire to be a coach, what he learned while coaching at
Wabash, how WJU is part of a great growth of wrestling within West
Virginia and the advent of a Regional Training Center at WJU.
